Bamburgh Castle is on the Northumberland Coastline in England. The Castle is just south of Holy Island and south of the Scottish border at Berwick. These Photographs of Bamburgh Castle were taken in the summer of 2004, and include views of the Castle and views from the Castle. At the time of the visit an Archaeological dig was taking place in the grounds of the Castle.

Pictures of Jesmond Dene
Jesmond Dene is located 1 mile east of Newcastle upon Tyne, just off the A1058 Newcastle to Tynemouth Coast Road. Jesmond Dene is a Victorian Park set in the Valley of the River Ouse. It was conceived and planted by Lord Armstrong who lived at his estate at Cragside, Northumberland. The park features a pets corner, a waterfall, a watermill and beautiful planting, which can be seen from a network of paths and bridges.

Pictures of the Rising Sun Country Park, Wallsend
These photos were taken of the Rising Sun Country Park, Wallsend, Tyne and Wear, in early autumn 2002. The site is that of the former Rising Sun Colliery, which closed in the 1960's. Swallow Pond is a natural lake, and the paths are former colliery wagonways. The site also comprises an organic farm, and a visitor centre.

Walk between Jesmond Dene and the River Tyne
These Digital Photos were taken of the walk between Jesmond Dene and the River Tyne. The walk passes through autumn woodland, Heaton Park, and through to Ouseburn before joining the East Quayside at Newcastle-upon-Tyne and includes the Millenium Bridge.

Warkworth Castle and the River Coquet
Warkworth Castle stands on the banks of the River Coquet just north of the town of Amble in Northumberland. The castle is dates back to the 12th Century, and is known as a “motte castle”.
